Since 1984, the Humane Society of Pagosa Springs has made a profound impact on the lives of animals and our community. Just a few examples of our work over the past 40 years include:

• Rescuing, sheltering, and rehoming thousands of dogs and cats, providing them with a second chance at a happy life. Connecting loving families with pets in need has been our central goal.
• Providing spay and neuter support to all of the pets who came through our doors and many more community animals, significantly reducing the stray population.
• Providing medical care and rehabilitation to injured and abused animals, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.
• Educating our community on responsible pet ownership and animal welfare through numerous programs and events.
